Baker Peak Media is a locally owned production team based out of Bellingham, WA. Our team serves local and national creatives looking to start or expand their podcast or multimedia project. In addition, a AV studio space is available for local bookings.
Matt Moakler has been involved in multimedia projects and broadcasting since 1994. A former TV weather forecaster and radio personality, Matt enjoys producing and hosting podcasts, documentary filmmaking, (Nominated for a Utah Film Award), and video production. Some of his past work experience includes TV news forecaster for a CBS affiliate, a radio disc jockey in Idaho, Utah, and California, and numerous private projects over the years.
Matt has volunteered for human rights organizations and believes everyone has a story to tell. To date, he’s produced five documentary films including a full-length feature on forgiveness and a short doc on starting life over after a tragic event. He’s also hosted/produced several podcasts over the years including “The Real Show” and a podcast about mass incarceration. Matt is currently the host of What Is Whatcom, a local podcast show about Whatcom County.
When he’s not in the studio, Matt enjoys the Nooksack River with his English Springer Spaniel, Lucky, or capturing scenic Whatcom County landscapes with this drone or video camera. He currently lives east of Bellingham, Washington.
